A bit about me.
I have spent the last five+ years teaching in Alaska. I am dedicated to the field of education and believe in integrating technology into the classroom in a way that enhances the learning of students. Technology is a tool that can help students connect to the world and gain a greater understanding of concepts and ideas.
I attended the University of Alaska, Fairbanks where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Online innovation and Design. My education focused on on using learning theories, to drive designing instruction for students in a manner that implemented a variety of technology applications in order to meet the needs of all learners.
In order to ensure that I am providing my students with the optimal experiences I network both locally and worldwide with other professionals to continue developing my own set of knowledge, essential skills, and to acquire the tools necessary to facilitate instructing my students.I am excited and eager to be an active participant in the future of technology in education.
